We are a dedicated and specific Lettings Agency dealing only with rented properties in custom built premises, well situated in Darlington town centre, to attract a wide variety of clients.
Our sister Company, Ann Cordey Estate Agents, also advertises our properties and can re-direct any enquiries directly to us.
With competent and committed staff, we have the experience to deal with any situation. We are long time members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents and you can be comforted with their backing and rigorous regulations, that all matters are dealt with in a highly professional, friendly and legitimate manner. We are devoted in ensuring that both Landlords and Tenants alike, are treated in the same fashion.
We have a hard working accounts team where all financial matters are rigorously controlled with dedicated client accounts to safeguard any client monies and regular auditing from third parties.
We are licensed to advise on any insurance matters for rented property and can offer independent advice on all aspects of property management including taxation, legalities and the 'buy to let' market.
We have our own in-house Domestic Energy Assessor so EPC's can be done very quickly and your property advertised with immediate effect.
In essence, we are a 'one stop' letting shop, with all the necessary departments - letting, admin, accounts and legal matters - all located under one roof giving a very efficient service to our clients.
Business History
'Swiftlets' was initially established in 1996, trading under the Ann Cordey Estate Agent branding, who were market leaders in residential sales and gained a wealth of experience in all aspects of property management.
Owned and personally managed by Gareth Cordey, increased customer demand dictated the need for a dedicated lettings management Company and 'Swiftlets Limited' was formed in 2003.
Continued growth forced the decison for specific lettings premises and the business moved to Outram House in 2007.
We now manage a large and diverse range of over 600 properties in and around the Darlington area and are one of the leading dedicated letting Agents in the town.
Our business is never content with current strategies and we continue to strive to develop new and exciting plans to push our service to new levels.
