If you have a rented property, you have a legal requirement to maintain the buildings insurance, or ground rent on an apartment. You must let your insurance company know if you are planning to let it out. We can provide specific information for this.

Contents

You will obviously require contents cover on a furnished property but we also strongly advise taking out some minimum contents cover on an unfurnished property to cover carpets, curtains etc.in the event of a serious accident.

Rent protection

Subject to suitable referencing on your tenants, we can offer insurance to cover any loss of rent through their job loss, non-payment etc.
